i put my elevator servos in the tail, as i didnt like the carbon push rod setup i tried. i have a YS 140 in nose, and i even added wieght to tail to bring CG back. plane took it well. but check your CG anyway and fly it first. then move it back.

aerobats like edge, sukhoi, extra etc seem to be able to take aft CG quite well.
