Default RE: Got me a Shoestring, and got it done

Howdy all,
I finally got up the nerve and did some heavy prayin and got my Shoestring in the air. WOW! This thing is a really great plane. I was scared to fly it. For one reason is that it is so nice of a looking plane and I dont want to screw it up. Another I hadnt flown a plane of this sort, so I thought. It flys and lands as good as my Super Sportster 40. It didnt take much to take off of the ground either. It was aligned almost perfectly. I didnt have to put in any aileron or rudder trim whatsoever. A first for me I might add. But I had the elevator way to up and didnt realize it becouse I thought it was level. I will fix it instead of subtriming it to 100 like I had to do. This plane flys like it is on rails. It, in my experiance, glided in smoothly like my sportster and reacted great. I wished I had this earlier. Anyway, you all that havent had yours up yet, you are in for a real treat. I do however need to work on my saito, I think it needs its valves adjusted. It seems to have less power than it did.
