I use fuel dots on a two line system and never flood the engine, I use a T and a check valve and the fuel goes to the tank not the carb.
Maybe I'm missing something but how does a check valve stop the flow of fuel to the carb when fueling? That's the same direction the fuel has to travel when the engine is running.
