Default RE: Electronic ignition for a G23

C&H Ignitions did mine. Very nice job and engine runs super. They test run it to set the timing, tune it in, etc. Ridiculously easy to start now. Frankly, you just look at the engine to give it encouragement and it flips over by itself! Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration but it flip starts incredibly well. My first start was a half-hearted flip to prime it and poof, it started to run and idle away. Cool!!!

Even better than the flip starting ease and lower idle, and my main reason to do the conversion is that the engine now weighs approx 8 oz less than before, even with including the NiMH 1100 ignition battery!

Not cheap if you have them do it, this is what it cost me:

The QMS is $124.95, plus $35 labor, plus $2 JR connector (for a JR charge switch), plus $10 shipping = $171.95.
