Beginner Questions
My personal opinion is that you would be far happier with the Yellow Aircraft F-16. If memory serves the Byron has a huge "cheater" hole in the bottom of the fuselage that is unsightly at best. The Byron fan setup, with the pipe going forward into the fuselage creates a problem with heat around areas where radio equipment and wiring is installed. The pipe forward arrangement makes for a nasty, oily, greasy mess inside the fuselage. The Byron has foam wings that are only glassed and not sheeted with balsa. While they can initially be made to look nice, these wings are extremely susceptible to hanger rash and dents from your fingers in normal handling. It wont take long for them to start looking "war weary" unless you are extremely careful while handling and transporting the airframe.
Again, this is just my opinion setting forth the reasons why I would choose the Yellow Aircraft F-16 over the Byron.
