Archie - know exactly what you mean...

Ed, yes plastic bolts. New undercarriage mounting plate did the trick, shered the undercarriage off twice more today[&:], but both times just the bolts broke. Though into the repair shop after the second flight as the it was quite a heavy landing[:@]. On inspection found I had managed to break one of the spars again. Now repaired.

Luke and I had a great day. As Surrey says, perfect weather. I was concentrating on some more precision practise. I was doing knife edge circuits and figure 8s (both horizontal and vertical) for about half of one flight. Now getting comfortable doing ke with the belly towards me. Luke and I tried some formation ke passes. Not too good, don't know if Lukes dad got a photo or not.

Also practising rolling circles, and even managed a couple of rolling figure 8s .

Luke was doing some lovely harrier passes, and his rolling harriers are getting really good now. I managed to video some of it, I'll send the video to Luke in a while.

So I think I am really improving, as Archie says, it encourages you to push yourself. What I do need to work on is how to land on the wheels on the strip[&:].
