Archie, not blaming the C50. You will remember that I managed to crash and destroy the nose before ripping out the u/c at all. I rebuilt it, and at the time thought that the landing plate had survived ok.

With hind sight, it may also have been slightly damaged, enough for it to come out with a less than perfect landing. Each repair it got weaker. Now a completely new bottom for the front of the fuz has done the trick, at least it terms of not ripping out the plate.

Anyway, forgot to mention last night that I finally got around to sealling the aileron hinge gap (it was quite big in places[&:]). Hope to see if anything has improved as a result.
