RE: Need some help buying plane
Dart373 and backyardkevin - may I suggest that you get someone with plenty of experience from your field, who is also familiar with your flying skills, to help you with these decisions. All to often newer pilots buy an airplane without first asking someone who is more knowledge to help them. RCU is certainly a good place to do this, but a local friend with good experience would be hinestly be able to assit you better. There could be all kinds of things wrong with a used airplane that you may not see coming. Flying skill, likes and dislikes, airplane design, plane and electronics quality/condition, budget and where you want to evolve to in the hobby all play a role in these decisions. Get a friend to help you before you possibly purchase something you may wish to hadn’t. Just my 2 cents and IMHO.
