On the Lancair that I built, I used the three line system described here except that I had the line going to a fuel dot hooked up to a line in the vent that was angled to the rear & bottom of the tank. That way, the tank can both be fueled & de-fueled. The fuel dot was mounted on the front of the firewall with a 90 degree mounting bracket from Sig Manufacturing and a hole was cut in the cowl to clear the fuel dot. I have had problems with the EZ Fuelers sticking and/or leaking, so do not like to use them.
