Default RE: PULL/PULL VS PUSHRODS

ORIGINAL: TOYMAKER

Chip,

I have used the three most common methods of controlling the elevator. Pull/pull, c.f rod to a MK bellcrank and most recently the .070 c.f rods set in a ladder type arrangement like Troy newman does.

What are your thoughts on each of these and what is your preferred method or tried and true way?

I do not care for the MK setup or pull pull at all for elev. The little carbon rod system looks good to me, however I cannot see it really being superior to the tried and tru pushrod. My dad did it in 1986 on our Zlin and it did not feel any more solid then the Dalotels did at the time. Also seems like a lot of work.
