Default RE: WM Rambler's Engine Mount?

Bob, I think you were the one that recommended the Rambler for the "1st L.W. Airplane" I posted a while back. Thanks for the offer of the engine mount by the way, but I won't be needing it. I believe the PL5111-050 will work because I also have an extra one I had laying around. Judging by placing the engine mount close to a firewall and setting the engine on the beams it looks like it will work. Now to work out the linkage and other variables.

By the way, I know it wouldn't look scale, but would the plane work okay by either mounting the engine on its side, or upright even? I'm really wanting to see the engine some, and that I'm somewhat of a novice flyer still, I'd feel more comfortable landing the bird knowing the engine isn't dangling below looking for objects if you know what I mean...[sm=bananahead.gif]
Hard landings every once in a while still happen. I really want this plane to be a Sunday flyer and just putta putta it around. If eventually I felt the need for more power, I could always mount another engine I have, or buy another......

I would like to see a pic of your recovered Rambler45 Bob, and thanks a bunch again!
Dennis

Man, is not the Enya .53 Purdeeeeee ?

Happy flying!
