Default RE: Staggerwing Beech w/fixed gear

The Wylam Staggerwing drawings from Air Age (MAN) include 17R and A17F with fixed gear, as well as the later models with retractable gear. A17F has a larger engine and shorter nose than 17R. I don't remember the particulars right now without looking them up. The complete Wylam set is a bit pricey, in my opinion. The Staggerwing Museum at Tullahoma has a reconstruction of 17R, which was crashed back in the 30's. As I understand it, 17R was a one-only prototype. Google will yield a lot of links for Staggerwings.

Here's a picture of the 17R landing gear that I made at Tullahoma a while back.
