I want a .40 plane with .52 Motor. Will that be a dog ? Or should I go with a larger motor ? Has to be 4 stroke.
Yes, it will be a Dog with a .52 four stroke.
It really needs a 72 4 stroke or a strong 50 2 stroke to give you a good performance. It will fly with a 52 four banger but that is about it. Heck, even a .40 size Trainer is almost underpowered with a 50 four stroke. No need for having flaps on a DOG [X(]. Like I wrote in the other forum, The 40 stick wants a 70 class 4 stroke (Saito 72) and the 60 stick really likes the 100 Saito. Trust me, you can't go wrong with the 60 size stick and a Saito 100. Just my $0.02
