This is in an CG Ultimate so I rarely have it at full throttle it's usually at about half. As for tuning the engine, I burn 20/20 fuel so at around 2 - 2 1/4 turns you get a pretty good smoke stream from the exhaust and the transition is good. Then I hold up the plane at full throttle to check if it's lean and off she goes. I will also check the RPM they are usally around 9200. As for low end I never touch it.
