You sure did. It's not hovering that's stupid, but the choices some individuals make as to where and when to do it. How difficult it is to do something stupid has nothing to do with it. Hovering near groups of people or over an active runway is just as stupid as a newbie repeatedly flying his trainer over the pits. The difference is that the newbie might not have the skill or experience to understand their stupidity, while the guy hovering his 33% Cap-alike does have the skill and experience to understand his stupidity--yet he does it anyway.

There is a time and place for everything in this hobby.
