Except if your radio glitch sends the throttle to full and full up elevator and a little right rudder.........how is that plane just going to "plop" to the ground then. Think about it for a minute. If I'm flying my jet at 200 MPH straight down the runway from right to left and I get a glitch, the jet is most likely going to continue going right to left, in a relatively straight line. It's not suddenly going to make a hard left into the pits. Even if I get a hard left rudder imput, it's hard to turn a jet giong 200 MPH at 90 degrees What is your logic that says my jet will do more damage than your 35%? Anything can happen and someday probably will so I feel like it's crazy to make these kinds of comparisons.

Any model airplane is capable of damaging property and even killing you from any position, attitude, speed, altitude, slow or fast, hovering or high speed low passes. The circumstances do not matter, your respect for the plane and level of preparation and alertness to these chances are what matters.

Let's not try to point the finger at the other guy, instead try and see what you can do to improve the safety at your field.
