RE: Spad3d Questions
I've got the spad 3D with an LA40, it flies fine with an 11x3 apc. It has kind of been the latest craze at our club, most are putting .46 bearing engines on them, but the .40 will let you putt around, harrier, and will pull out of a hover with the 11x3. It is a very durable plane to say the least, I nosed mine into the asphalt, broke a prop and an engine mount, no big deal. Not as much fun to fly as some of my other planes, but it dosen't hurt as much when you take a dirt nap. I would suggest putting a spinner on it, any cheap one will do, it will cut down on the broken props.
