Gordo, I could never find any 0% fuel formy moki and there aint no way im gonna mix fuel so I used 5% fuel and ive tried that in my os's and surprisingly they still had good power but they overheat with the low nitro. I guess high nitro helps COOL the engine, weird huh?
Well, to get techy, it's not the nitro that's cooling it. When you increase nitro, you are running richer (some don't get this but it's true. More nitro = less meth, therefore needs more fuel), and therefore more cooling because of more fuel/oil. One way I found was to add a couple of ounces of castor to the 5% to run in the OS but the power change seemed like a lot to me. I just go with 15% in all my os.
You might be surprised at the ease of fuel mixing w/o the nitro factor. I buy 5 gals of Meth at a time, and 3 Quarts of oil. to get the 10% oil I use for the ST, I just put about 7 oz of oil into a fuel jug and fill it up. Takes 5 min. and since I only get 5 or 6 flights out of the gallon, I can't afford to buy $12 or $13 fuel for that baby!
