Hi all,

I have received several questions about Fl. Jets and thought it might be best to answer them all here so the information can be passed around.

The headquarters Hotel is the 4 Points Sheraton on Florida Ave. If full, the Holiday in is right up the street.
We have a special travel agent, Cindy Burkey, and she has special rates for several hotels. [email protected]
All hotels are within 10 or 15 minutes form the site, depending on traffic.
The new addition to the runway is being completed tomorrow. This is a wide grass strip, adjacent to and butting up against, the hard surface runway for 600 feet, so there is no "bump" or transition between the two surfaces. This is a fabulous alternate runway that will be used at Top Gun as well.
There are No landing lights.
All that have pre-registered will receive a Parking Pass in the mail. Flight line Ribbons will be given to the pilots as they sign in.
Turbine Waivers are required. Foreign pilots need to bring a letter from their governing model organization that they are qualified to operate a turbine powered model.
There will be provisions to sign up for AMA membership on site.
Tents may be erected anytime after Noon on Wednesday, NOT BEFORE!!
Anyone wishing to ship a model may do so to FTE's address found on the web site,( FrankTiano.Com) We are only 4 minutes from the field. We will have a pick-up truck to help if needed.
There are plenty of camp sites on the property for Motor Home Coaches or small camping vehicles and trailers. They are charging $10 per night without electricity and $15 per night with electricity.
