I too had the same problem with a 4 oz. tank. Also had trouble with the klunk doubling forward and sticking forward on a hard landing (with my pbf). here's how I solved both problems.
Take a medium sized nylon zip tie and cut out the middle 2-3" then put a 45 degree bend in the nylon tie about half way. Zip tie this "nylon insert" to the klunk and to the front inlet nipple so that the 45 degree bend forces the klunk to the bottom of the tank. This will keep the klunk forced down in the tank, but also limits the movement either left or right.
