get an omp edge 540 profile. use a saito 72 or ys 63. fly the CRAP out of it; it takes several months to learn to hover, but then it gets easy. Don't go from plane to plane. A 2-stroke works but it is easier to learn on a 4-stroke as thrust change is instant, which is handy at first when you are behind the plane most of the time. don't get anything fancy until you can get it on the deck and hover nose in.
