Personally, if I wanted ailerons, and wanted a trainer, I'd start with a different kit. The senior is a calm wind airplane, and flys great as designed, but for training purposes, I'd go buy a ARF LT 40, for two reasons. One, i hate building trainers lol, and two, they fly great, and you can fly them in winds that'll keep the kadet senior grounded, ailerons or no.
I learned on a Seniorita and still love to fly it today, reguardless of wind conditions.
