Default RE: Bought Ultra Stick

I am still thinking that the difference in the motors just isn't enough to make that much of a noticeable change in performance. However it shouldn't be any worse on an airplane weighing the same. If you have flaps then you also have two more servos. Likewise, most trainers use one servo for the ailerons where as the Ultrastick calls for two. If you have your Ultrastick set up with flaps you are carrying three more servos than your trainer had. Likewise, were using a 600 mah 4 cell NiCd on your trainer? How much does your 1400 mah battery weigh in comparison? Are you using a bigger tank? Add to this aluminum dowels, tristock for the VS added weight of the engine and you can see how the weight adds up over the trainer.
