All of them he has listed are great flying planes. Not a single one of them is "better" then the other. Each one just flys a little different because of the Newtonian law of "for every action there is an equal an opposite reaction". That means for every little tiny design change in each aircraft, it is going to change that way it flies no matter how minuscule the change is even within a millimeter of change. That is why the Sledge, OMP Edge, Extreme 540 all look the same but all have different flying characteristics.
In all honesty a UCANDO 46 or a knock off of one is prolly going to be your best bet coming into the 3D realm. That is an EXTRMEMLY forgiving airplane capable of almost all 3D maneuvers. It flies very slow and very stable. Almost too stable. Has no bad tendencies at all. That would be a good start though.
