Reason I ask is I am thinking of glassing a Byron Eagle. Book says they weigh 16 to 18 lbs. Going by that would mean building towards the heavy side it obviously weighs around the 18 #. I am thinking that would mean covered is 16#, glassed would be 18#. Sound about right? So if the GP Eagle works out ok at 18# wouldn't the Byron? They are about the same physical size. Not sure how the airfoils compare. What's your opinion? Especially interested in hearing from people who have actually done it. thanks
