Im working on 2 new Byron CEII's now ,actually finished both this week ..
Covered with econocote , full eagle graphics , 3w60 , wieght is 17.5#
bird 2 set up the exact same covering and graphics but with a D&B 3.7 twin 18.5#
previous eagles that i have had (covered) 17.5 # w/ D&B 3.7 twin
glassed and painted w/D&B 3.7 twin 21.0 #
The glassed version was a lot heavier and did not fly as well as the covered versions
Glassing takes talent and time and adds wieght , someone who is more proficient at glass work should be able to shave some wieght
