vertical was pretty good but not unlimeted however this plane has TONS of drag and that kills the vertical some, The engine I used was old and somewhat tired so I would not be able to give you a great opinion on how the saito will perform but I do know it will be better than the OS 40 (many consider it a dog out of the 40 class 4-strokes) just watch out for dead sticks with this plane, Like manyy bipes if the engine dies it is like slamming on the brakes and does not glide well without power.
