RE: Bought Ultra Stick
Keith, I'm sorry for not helping. I didn't use a reversing Y and have never used one. I mounted each flap on separate channels with an 8 channel Rx. I didn't use a Y on the ailerons either. I wanted to be able to use all the features when I set it up. If you use a Y on the ailerons then you won't be able to do all the stuff this airplane can do such as the crow setting talked about in the book. This requires having both ailerons go up at the same time while the flaps both go down. You can also interconnect the flaps to the ailerons which extends the ailerons to the flaps so they work with the ailerons increasing the spin speed of the airplane, but then you didn't want all this stuff so Y will work. Just know it will limit what you can do later on as you may one day want to try different things. This can be a very versatile airplane. All based on what you want.
