As far as the Carbon rods and end fittings go, I use alchohol to clean the inside of the pushrod and out side of the end fitting. I have used epoxy and gorrila glue with good results. I do not use a metal pushrod inside, why add the extra wieght? the rod is plenty strong enough. I have used these procedures on my 80" cap with 50CC brison and like the results.
