I'm getting ready to hinge the wing and I'm already thinking about mounting the radio... Anyway, I'm going with the carbon fiber pushrod setup from Central Hobbies - http://www.centralhobbies.com/contro...e/carbrod.html

Has anyone had problems with pulling the titanium rod out of the carbon fiber sleeve? I see lots of people run threaded rod through the center, but I'm not sure why. Is it to be safe, or is it because the titanium rod can come loose? I'm going to use the JB Weld, which I know is very strong.
The JB weld with the titanium ends is the way to go, everyone uses it and its recommended by Central Hobbies for thier rod kits. They wont pull out if you leave them alone for 24hrs. If your going to run soft threaded rod thru it whats the point. In that case just use 4-40 rods. I use tha Central Hobbies carbon rods with the titanium end on all my planes.
