That is exactly right. The equalizer or JR's matchbox is the only way two servos
from different manufacturers are going to move in synch with each other. I'm
sure the plane will fly without them but will probably have some interesting
trim problems. I still don't see the need for dual elevator servos unless you
are flying something very large such as the TOC planes, but that's just my opinion.
If you feel the need - do it.
