I'm wondering of all these many people that put VMAR down,how many of them have actually owned one.I'm sure some have and some may have had bad luck.I know some folks that had bad luck with Hanger 9 and some of the supposedly fantastic ARF's.

Everybody know that VMAR's have "no" balsa wood in them.It's tung wood.Altho not quiet as lite as balsa it gets the job done and done well.Both of my V's look great and get attention when ever people come visit the field.

I listened to all this !@#$%$##@ for quiet some time two years ago,but figured what the hell. I called and talked to Kelsey at Richmond and he said that the net is mostly negative.I certainly agree on that one.He said the best judge is the owner so I order the Edge..This was two years ago when the green was all you could get. I used everything in the box.Hardware included.It's all still in the plane and have had no problems at all.I've cartwheeled the plane,made very hard landings and it's all ready to go again.No problems.

That was two years ago...So I've kept an eye on the net and everyone is still slandering VMAR.

I just finished the new Arrow Tiger from VMAR.Man,what a beauty.It's ready to fly and can't wait to take it out.

The best part (I called Kelsey again about the cheap price) is that this beauty was $129!!!!!.Dirt cheap.Show me another ARF for 129 that looks this good and I'll eat it.The workmanship is much better than two years ago and I wasn't complaining then and I'm not complaining now.The engine mount,mounts directly to the firewall.There's no power pod.All in all very well made.In fact,any ARF or kit I put together gets extra Gorilla Glue in certain spots whether it needs it or not.This is just a common practice that everyone ought to do.

Check out the Arrow Tiger if you like that type of plane.It looks a whole lot better in person than it does on the website for sure.

I don't work for VMAR.I'm also retired in Texas and I like the VMAR's. Not top of the line,but $129??? I'll buy it!!!!
