Default RE: RE: Seagull Models <span class=

Hows the weather Glowplug?

Any flying in the near future??

I just finished installing the tank in mine... I used a Sullivan FlexTank RST style. 12oz.

It went in with about a 30 second modification to the servo tray and little effort at that!

Its the perfect shap to run right up to the front fire wall! And can be heated with a hair dryer to make an even better fit, but I didnt feel that was needed..

I wanted to pick your brain for a second! You said you used the 8oz tank that came with the kit...Did you build it with the fill tube aswell?

(feeling stupid right now!!) I have never built a fully enclosed cowl jobby, so I never used the third tube for filling! Where in this cowl should I run the filler tube out?

If I run it out the bottom, would this not tend to cause a syphon effect and drain the tank?
(REALLY feeling stupid now!!)

All my planes have open front ends, so the fule issue has never crossed my mind? And the directions with the kit say nothing about it???

The 4 stroke fits beautifully in there, and things are really starting to come together!
Now I have to control myself and wait for the snow to melt.......Dont think extras would do well with skiis! LOL

Thanks.
Rob.
