I've owned a few different 3Ws, but not the 48B2. My only concern is not with the motor but with the model. It's tough to find a model right sized for a 50cc motor that will have a cowl wide enough to hold a twin without cutting holes for the plug caps and maybe the top of the cylinders. Unless that's the plan, like a J-3 were you would show off the motor.
