We hate to tell a person bad news about their new pride and joy. It's best to sell it and get an Extra or Edge of the same size. They will last more than 1/2 flight.
The Raven will snap in a heartbeat. Those wing caps weren't added for beauty, but they still don't help tip stall. The plane will fly if it's kept fast without a slow speed turn. If they didn't snap on takeoff, it was a sure bet it would on final turn at approach.
