Default Magnum 1.80 & Saito 1.50 Gas Conversions?

Hi,

I have 2 engines (NIB) that I was thinking about converting to gas, and was wondering if it would be worth it? If not, I plan on selling them at a swap meet tomorrow!

What I was interested in is the cost to convert these engines and the reliability once converted? Will they function just as good as they did on glow fuel? I read that I will have to use allot more oil (10%-15%) than a normal gas engine (1%-2%). Also, from what I can gather, the cost of my engine plus the conversion parts, would put me within $100 of just buying an engine designed to run on gas.

Well, should I try and sell these engines and just go out and buy an engine designed to run on gas, or are they worth converting to gas. I would only want to convert them if I could be sure that they would perform as good they they would on glow fuel. I don't want to have to tinker with it for months at the field, or find out that it only puts out a fraction of the power that it would have using glow either.

Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!
