.......... There is a small screw at the top of the carb just under the air filter. I dont know what that does yet. Its my understanding there is only one main jetting adjustable for all ranges. .........

That is the idle set screw. If you want to raise the idle of the engine, turn it clockwise. To lower it, turn it counterclockwise.
