Default RE: Pics of my YA Cap 232

Cap Snap, bla bla bla. I did the exact same thing as you. Learned to fly helicopters then moved on to airplanes. In fact, my first airplane was an OS 70 Powered GP Cap 232. I just couldn't bring myself to have some silly trainer while my heli buddies flew gas powered aerobatic planes. Flew it fine all by myself. Took 3 passes to get the 1st landing done but it landed in 1 piece. Don't let others push there ideas of how a plane will fly when it is likely that they have not seen the plane in question in there air themself. I have personally seen the Yellow Aircraft Cap 232 (60) fly and it does not have the tendancy to snap. I am not saying that it WONT but the likelyhood is slim if you fly it carefully. Due to you background in Helis I doubt that you are a stick banger and that you will fly it precisely. I eneded up giving my Cap to a friend that wanted a second plane other than a trainer. It still flies today. I did, however, break 1 piece off of my cap that caused me to ground it for my uses. I loaded my toolbox on the elevator and "Snapped" it off.
