Default RE: Dynathrust or Master Airscrew ?

Jan, it's perfectly fine for you to disagree with me. It would be a pretty boring world if we all think alike.

Personally, I like the fiber-reinforced plastic MA and Dynathrust for 3 main reasons:

1. They are cheap
2. They are widely available
3. They are very TOUGH!

Very few LHS carries the Euro props you like so much. Even many of the big name mail order houses (tower, etc.) don't carry them. Sure the MA and Dynathrust are not as rigid as the CF and wood props, so they flex when underload and are not as efficient. However, that flexibility also allow them to be much tougher blades. The ones I've used haved survived repeated ground strikes with nary a scratch. I can't say that about the Mejzlich carbon 26x10 after one brief encounter with the concrete runaway. Let me just say that I was not about to throw away a $90 prop, so after much trimming and reshaping, the 26x10 is now a 24x10.

Every prop has its proper place in RC (no pun intended). I don't ever call anything bad regardless of their sale price, as they often have perfectly good applications.
