HI,
I'm looking for new prop for my ST 3250 on giant profile and I think 20x6 will be the best unless you know other size.
I want a plastic prop that I can get from my lhs and it's only MA or Dynathrust.
What will be better?

I know about APC and I can get them in my lhs too but there is no 20x6.
Now I have MA 18x10 and it's fine.

I have a 20x6 dynathrust but I get better performance from the 20x8, the 20x6 is wider so you think it would be better for verticle but it is not.I like the dynathrust because they are so durable . however a good wood prop cant be beat for performance.

I think on 20x6 because lots profiles owner are running this size with good results but after what you said, I will need to test both and the good thing is their low price.
The Dynathrust seems like a good prop.

Menz is great, i know, it just impossible to get one here.
Zinger, MA (wood) and Top Flite are no problem.
I never used a wood prop probably because it break easily (this is what i think) but if you can light my eyes and tell me more about there strength I will consider it.

There is no bad props, just bad applications. Would I use a $9 Dynathrust or MA prop on a precision 3D scale aerobat? Of course not. Then again, neither would I use a $150 hollow-core carbon prop on a beat-up ol' Sunday flyer running on a chainsaw engine.
I've used both Dynathrust and MA Classic props on my giant scale sport flyers, where I don't care to wring the last Oz. of thrust out of the engine. Putt-putting around the sky with super-efficient high-dollar Euro blades at 1/4 throttle is just plain silly.

How much light is wood prop compare to plastic?
Which is better, MA wood (not the scimitar) or Zinger (not the pro) ? 20x6

Hi!
Well I don't agree with wulfy...I always run the best props I could get my hands on!
And I can assure you that neither MA or Dynatrust is what I would use.
Wood props are much lighter than plastic props but apart from this there is not much difference powerwise.
Wood props are a little easier to file and sand though if you want too experiment with shape and blade area.
Hollow Mejznic carbon props are good but Menz is cheap to buy and much easier to shape so I would recommend them -you must be able to order them via the net???

Jan, it's perfectly fine for you to disagree with me. It would be a pretty boring world if we all think alike.
Personally, I like the fiber-reinforced plastic MA and Dynathrust for 3 main reasons:
1. They are cheap
2. They are widely available
3. They are very TOUGH!
Very few LHS carries the Euro props you like so much. Even many of the big name mail order houses (tower, etc.) don't carry them. Sure the MA and Dynathrust are not as rigid as the CF and wood props, so they flex when underload and are not as efficient. However, that flexibility also allow them to be much tougher blades. The ones I've used haved survived repeated ground strikes with nary a scratch. I can't say that about the Mejzlich carbon 26x10 after one brief encounter with the concrete runaway. Let me just say that I was not about to throw away a $90 prop, so after much trimming and reshaping, the 26x10 is now a 24x10.
Every prop has its proper place in RC (no pun intended). I don't ever call anything bad regardless of their sale price, as they often have perfectly good applications.
