Don't know if I'm in the right forum to ask this but: Has anyone here bashed a Goldberg Extra kit (or any kit) for 3D?
I take it that 3D planes have control surfaces that are larger. Is it that the hinge line is more forward or is the (elevator, rudder) surface area increased without moving the hinge line? It seems that not much is said about the ailerons being enlarged.
The reason I ask is that I have a CG Extra kit that's been begging to be built for the last 6 years. Just returning to the hobby and I don't think the boss would appreciate seeing a box from Aeroworks or H9 sitting on the doorstep at this time.
Thanks in advance for any help or insight. Thanks RCUniverse!
