A fellow at the airfield had his hobbico superstars wings fold at the center after pulling up from level flight. We looked at the wreckage and two of the guys said their superstar planes had steel pins at the wing joiner and screws holding the vert. fin on. This one didn't nor did it have any way of putting pins or screws in. He said it's a new ARF but is it possible he got an older version off the shelf before they made strength improvements on th plane? Were superstars known for folding at the wing joiner?
