painting cowls ?

I buy the paint from Halfords, they can match up almost any profilm colour, just take a sample of the film with you.

Paint the cowl

Apply stickers, transfers, trim tape etc

Ask my local car body shop to put a clear 2 pack lacquer on it with plenty of plasiciser. I have a mate who works there so I get it FOC,
but I'm sure if you ask nicely enough most car body shops will laquer your cowl for you for a small charge.

You end up with a nice smooth glossy cowl thats completely fuel proof and looks the business.
