I' m curiois to find out how much the DP extra weights. I know the first run was comming out at 15 to 16 pounds with a gasser on it. I have a BME 44 that I'm considering using. I purchased the plane with the intentions of putting a BME 50 on it but I have decided to step up to the 33% class so I do not want to purchase the BME 50. Will my BME 44 pull this bird out of a hover? I have the motor in a H9 edge now and it is truly unlimited at 14.4 pounds.
