Default Dave Patrick 330L 2nd run Weight.

I have the BME 44 in my Patrick Extra . I am at exactly 15 lbs, 7 oz now. I was just over 16 lbs before I 1) switched to carbon fiber gear and 2) took some ballast out of the nose. The 44 has very good power. If I already had a 44, I would use it. If I was buying new, I'd probably get the BME 50.

I am just coming off of break-in mix on my 44. I just ran the seventh gallon of fuel through it this past weekend. Engine seems to be gaining power. Vertical is unlimited. I couldnt tell you much about power to vertical out of a hover, because my hovering exits have been less than vertical so for. The plane is still pretty new to me.

Mine is a first run Patrick. I have a few notes and some close up shot of my BME 44 mounted up at http://www.devino.org/mark/airplanepics/dp330l.htm
