Default RE: real flight question

Geo, I can't even imagine how this hobby would be for me without the sims...any of them. Don't worry so much about my lengthy endorsements for AF. I love G2 too, and I've probably got more hours on that sim than I can count. I've had plenty of good planes downloaded and learned a ton with it. In the end, we all want to get out and work with the real thing anyway and I'm certain every sim does it's job. My posts probably don't sound like it, but I've never been one to believe that there's only one right way to do anything. If I didn't have AF, I'd still be learning to hover!

Yeah, it's amazing to hit that "zone" with the controls in a new manuver with the sim, then go out and fly the real thing. It's all a matter of "trust" somehow when you're instincts are down pat, you know? I love it. It's amazing how the brain works...I've passed some plateau somehow hovering with the sim and now I don't have to think about my inputs (95% of the time). I can't believe how much I'm enjoying hovering now. What I have left is to build up better directional control...but that's getting better. I've proven to myself many times that if I can do something in the sim I can pretty much do it for real (depending on how fast my heart is beating ).
