I think the primary reason more people don't fly 60 size planes is that there just aren't as many available. There are far more choices in 40 size, especially in trainers and second planes. So if you start with a 40 size trainer, you're much more likely to look for a second plane that uses the same engine.

I agree with either a Super Sportster or a Four Star 60.
