nexstar NEVER had an airbleed carb on it. I do not see any outside difference between the FX and FXi. The nexstar is an awsome flying plane and i currently teach 3 people that each have one. I had one student solo his 5th flight, his son on his 3rd flight. I have a guy on his 7th flight, ready to solo next weekend, and a new older guy, probably 70's, that just got a nexstar and i am going to start teaching him next weekend. They are great planes and the engine they come with is strong. My FX has about 6 gallons through it and it still runs like the day it was broke in!
