Default RE: The new NSCC update

Jimbo - I'm definately not trying to knock you or anything, I know how hard it is to get anything going in combat!, But what is the advantage of creating new classes for NSCC as opposed to running the "establiched" classes? Pilots could then use their planes in national competition withut modification.
I know in the beginning you (along with MANY others) did not think the .15 size engines would be fun in SSC but the class has evolved into something great, so why start a new class?
For semi-scale fun you could just run the ssc warbirds as a separate class.
A "one design" class definately has merit - but which design? Spads would be good here.

Seriously, I'm not criticizing, just looking for insight.
