Not to mention the HUGE savings in fuel... With the DA-50, you can keep the smaller tank (14.2 oz?) and fly with less fuel weight up front and less CG change over fuel time...

The 50 will be simply "insane power" to coin Chip's description. Really beef up the firewall with tri-stock in addition to the dowelling.

Sig Cap 231-EX was 14 lbs with a 1.60 (and pilot) so this plane ought to easily handle the 12.5 lbs...

Bryant does have a point with the throttle curve... Swinging a big, wide bladed 22x10, a couple hundred RPM from a click can pull you out fast. But you'll be able to program a curve and get it where you want it...

Another nice thing is that if and when you tire of the CAP-X (we always seem to eventually) you'll have a SWEET engine for the many 500cc airframes coming to market, airframes that the big OS & Moki's just won't handle...

But Ive already got the plane and the DA and Ive sold my Moki 2.10 so Im committed. But in weight comparison of the DA50 to the Moki there is only a few oz's difference. And I know the power and throttle response will be better with the DA50.
